PHNXX is a Melbourne-based startup focused on accelerating the transition to a carbon-neutral economy by deploying smart, independent microgrids for renewable energy power generation and sustained energy efficiency. We seek to empower Australian farmers to become more self-sustainable by reducing their reliance on the grid for energy, increasing control over their operations, and thereby enhancing profitability whilst significantly reducing carbon emissions.

PHNXX is backed by Engie Factory, the venture arm of Engie Group, which is also the largest independent power producer in the world, operating in over 70 countries including Australia, where the retail arm is known as Simply Energy. Engie currently owns and operates over 1,000MW of renewable and gas-fired generating assets in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, with many more renewable projects in the development pipeline.
